Hey. I'm Nate.

I write, record, produce, and release indie rock under the name Meeting People. I have a small bedroom studio in upstate New York.

My music tends to be melancholic, good for long drives or hikes; which are often the places and spaces that inspire me to create.

It is guitar-laden, my primary songwriting instrument, and slightly vintage. I draw a lot of inspiration from the ‘90s and early 2000s alternative.

I've created this space to share things with those who might care enough to know about them - lyrics, demos, early releases, studio diaries, and other interesting bits from my creative process.

Most of this content will be for subscribers only, but I'll post some stuff when I release new music.

One day I hope to (actually) meet some interesting people here.
